This is a message to let you all know I will no longer be posting under this name, but under itwashappiness. I invite one and all to add me as I wish to get to know you all again better. I realise I have been a truly crappy friend these past few months but I wish to try to make it up to you all. I hope you decide to give me another chance. :)

BARTLET: Four years ago, we were joined by our highest ideals, by our best hopes, and tonight we're joined by the same commitment to open new doors of oppurtunity and justice. To ensure that the promise of the country is the birthright of all the people. We've achieved so much together always believing, always knowing that America could be made new again and so it was, and so it will be again. God bless you all. God bless the United States of America.
As the previous banner mentions, I have decided to run in the annual Run for the Cure as a member of my school's team.
Who are you running for?
For the million of women who have and are battling this disease.
We can beat this thing. Together united.
I want to raise a minimum of $60.
I ask of you, if you want and can afford it, pledge to donate. If it's a dollar or twenty.
Every dollar counts.
Thank you very very much.
Every donor's name will be printed on my tee-shirt and your donation thouroughly appreciated.
This is where you come in. Post here your favorite pictures of stars like Natalie Wood, Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, Marilyn Monroe and so forth [any star from the 40s, 50s, 60s]
But one catch, and heres the reason why I am asking for help from you: I need them to be fashion orientated. Meaning not simple photographs, headshots but artistic shots of the stars, that would fit rather nicely between the pages of Vogue and thus proving the glorious fashions of that particular era. HQs only.
Feal free to add any Meryl Streep photographs as well :)
I would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate this. I would do anything to repay you, icons, wallpapers as you wish. You just a giant hugs and loads of confetti.
Gimme Gimme Gimme
How can I resist you?
Estelle Getty, the great actress who portrayed Sofia on the hit show The Golden Girls passed away today, at 84. A great entertainer who suffered for decades before claiming fame in the 1985 sitcom. Sofia is still with us today and we will treasure your accomplishments forever, may you rest in peace. Thank you for the laughter, those moments of hilarity and joy.
July 1rst was Canada Day and, shamefully, didn't post anything. So this makes up for it, I hope. Enjoy!
I have just read and signed the online petition:
"Stop Morgentaler from receiving Order of Canada"
We, the undersigned residents of Canada want to unequivocally make known our opposition to any awarding of membership in the Order of Canada to the Montreal abortionist Henry Morgentaler. Throughout his career, Morgentaler has been directly and indirectly responsible for the abortions of thousands of unborn Canadian children, under the guise of providing compassionate care to the expectant mothers. We further petition Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his colleagues in the federal government to condemn any recommendation that would see Morgentaler receive membership in the Order of Canada.
I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might
agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider
signing yourself. Even if you aren't Canadian or care much about this issue,
it would mean a lot to me.
